All scouting units in the Susquehanna Council are invited to participate in the 2008 Mall Show on Saturday, February 2, 2008. The Mall Show will take place from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Participating units are asked to arrive at the mall by 8:00 am to set up prior to the official opening ceremony at 10:00 am. Units are asked to plan exhibits to coincide with the theme "Rave to Scouting" Please direct your questions to your district activities chairperson, the Scout Service Center at 570-326-5121 or 800-647-4510 or contact Jeremy Miller by email.'

In the event of imclement weather, the following policy will be adhered to...If the mall is OPEN, the mall show will be held as scheduled. Units should use their own judgement regarding weather conditions If the mall is CLOSED, the mall show will be cancelled.

This is an BSA www.scouting.org online assistant to help units complete
the Local Tour Permit Application form.... The online assistant will
guide you through a six-step process of providing all the information
required for the Local Tour Permit Application, you still must sign
and send a copy to the council for approval.
Please make sure you complete the fields as defined. Remember to print and send a signed copy to Susquehanna Council for approval.

Penns
Woods District Fall Camporee
October 5 - 7, 2007
at the
Winfield Fire Company Carnival Grounds
The theme for the 2007 Penns Woods Fall Camporee is Emergency Preparedness. We will have merit badge counselors on hand for the entire camporee. Some of the events will be:
We will be camping on the fire grounds Friday and Saturday nights. The Winfield Fire GRounds is located along Route 15 in Winfield. This will be a great opportunity for the Scouts to start working on the Emergency Prepardness Merit Badge or some of the requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class.
We will have a closing campfire that every Troop will be participating in. You will be asked to have a skit, song or cheer for your Troop. If you have any Scouts in your Troop that would like to participate in a Flag Ceremony, please email Chadd Sechler.
